Brandflare is an AI visibility platform. It measures how the four major AI engines — OpenAI's ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Perplexity, and Anthropic's Claude — present your brand when real buyers ask them questions: whether you're mentioned, how you rank against competitors, and whether what the AI says about you is actually true. Then it gives you the trend lines, receipts, and alerts to do something about it.
If generative engine optimization is the discipline, Brandflare is the instrument: the measurement layer that tells you where you stand, what changed, and whether the work you shipped moved the needle.
Who it's for
- Brand and marketing teams who suspect AI assistants are recommending competitors — or misdescribing their product — and want hard numbers instead of anecdotes.
- SEO and content teams extending rank tracking into AI answers, where there are no rankings to track, only mentions to earn.
- Agencies running AI visibility as a service across a client roster, with white-label reporting built in.
How it works
Everything starts from a panel of prompts: the questions a buyer in your category actually asks, generated for your brand when you onboard it. On a schedule, Brandflare runs a sweep — every prompt in your panel against all four engines — and a frontier-model judge scores every answer: which brands were named, in what order, how they were framed, and whether any claim contradicts your verified facts.
From those judged answers, the platform gives you:
- Flare score — a 0–100 headline number combining five measurements: how often engines name you, how prominently, how accurately, how evenly across the four engines, and how favourably. The methodology is fully documented, every score shows the pillar breakdown that produced it, and every pillar decomposes into the verbatim answers underneath. Mention rate on its own — the AI Visibility Score — is its largest pillar.
- The prompt matrix — a per-prompt, per-engine grid showing exactly where you appear and where you're invisible, with rank movement arrows between sweeps.
- Accuracy monitoring — every answer is checked against your brand's verified fact sheet, and affirmative false claims (wrong prices, dead products described as current, invented features) are raised as severity-graded flags. Omissions are never flagged; only things AI states that are wrong.
- Competitor tracking — share of voice, head-to-head mention rates, and gap trends measured on the identical prompts and the identical answers, so comparisons are always apples to apples. Details in competitor tracking.
- Alerts and reports — email alerts when new high-severity flags appear, and shareable white-label report links for client work, on the plans that include them.
Try it before you sign up
Two ways to see Brandflare working with zero commitment:
- The free audit. Enter any brand at /audit and Brandflare runs a compact live check — it researches your category and competitors, generates a handful of real buyer prompts, runs them across all four engines (about eight generations, each judged), and shows you where you were mentioned, who outranked you, and the worst false claim it caught. No signup, takes about five minutes, one audit per day.
- The public catalog. Explore lists Flare scores for brands Brandflare tracks openly. Browse your category, see who's winning its AI answers, and — once you have an account — clone any catalog brand into your private portfolio to track it yourself.
What Brandflare doesn't do
Honesty is part of the product. Brandflare measures; it doesn't manipulate. There is no way to inject your brand into AI answers, and no tool that claims otherwise is telling the truth. AI engines are also non-deterministic — the same prompt can produce different answers run to run — which is why Brandflare scores across a full panel, four engines, and repeated sweeps rather than reading anything into a single response. Numbers are always paired with the underlying answers, so nothing is a black box.
Plans at a glance
Three tiers — Starter, Pro, and Agency — differentiated by tracking depth (prompts, competitors, sweep frequency) and by brand count for agencies. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial at Pro depth, no credit card required. Exact limits, prices, and feature availability are in plans and limits.
Where to start
Run the free audit first — it takes five minutes and shows you your real starting position. Then follow the getting started guide to claim your brand, verify its fact sheet, and put your first sweep on the calendar.
