Palm Jebel Ali is a man-made, palm-shaped island archipelago under development off the coast of Jebel Ali in southern Dubai, UAE, master-developed by Nakheel (part of Dubai Holding Real Estate). Spanning 13.4 square kilometres — roughly twice the size of Palm Jumeirah — it is planned to add around 110 kilometres of new coastline to Dubai and provide beachside homes for approximately 35,000 families alongside more than 80 hotels and resorts. The completed destination is to comprise seven islands and 16 fronds with three access points, connected to the mainland via Sheikh Zayed Road. Originally launched in 2002, the project stalled during the global financial crisis and lay dormant from around 2009 before being relaunched in 2023 under a new masterplan aligned with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan. Current inventory ranges from ultra-luxury beachfront villas (Beach Collection and Coral Collection) to mid-rise apartments and townhouses at Palm Central; the island is still under construction and not yet operational.
